Sheila’s Island by Tim Firth
9th to 16th November 2024
4 women on a team building exercise have appointed Sheila as their leader on a treasure hunt around the Lake District. Only problem is – they find themselves stranded on an island in the middle of Derwentwater – nowhere near the other teams! A fantastic opportunity to see some very funny female characters balancing positivity
and survival as well as finding ways of killing time (hopefully not each other!).
Although these four work together, the longer they spend on the island the more home truths come out in this modern retelling of a classic play. Is there a monster on the island? Will they be rescued?
Is that a searchlight, or a disco?
